What Are Healthy Games?

As simple as that question seems, there isn’t necessarily one standard answer. Healthy Games are games that promote wellness, or enhance the management of a medical condition, or serve as a simulation for educational or training purposes.

Healthy Gaming can take the form of exercise (games like Dance Dance Revolution), mental health (games like Happy Neuron), fighting depression (games like Reach Out Central) and dealing with various medical conditions (games like Snow World for burn recovery and Glucoboy for diabetes).

Who is that green guy?

The “green guy” is Zarupee, who hails from Mars. Zarupee was first discovered by CiCi and Ace on their rocket trip to Mars in “Ferris Wheel Fun”, an interactive children’s learning book/CD by Rainey (www.zarupee.com).While Healthy Gaming is new to Planet Earth, Zarupee and other beings throughout the Galaxy have been using games for healthy living for a very long time.
