Angelina Jolie took her childrens’ advice. To take off post-pregnancy weight, she discovered Konami’s ‘Let’s Pilates’ active game for the Nintendo DS. The children convinced her that video games were more than just a fun activity and could be used to learn new skills and to exercise.
It’s reported that Ms. Jolie puts in one hour of video ‘Let’s Pilates’ three times a week and that she’s worked up to the most difficult setting.

Make sure that you give your body time to adjust after having a baby, especially if you’re breastfeeding. And then, when you’re ready to get moving, check with your doctor and look into active video games that you can do at home.
Dr. Jeannine Rahimian, an obstetrician and mother of two, credits Pilates exercise with shortening her recovery time after giving birth, as well as helping with back pain. Pilates, an exercise program developed in the early 20th century, focuses on core muscles that keep the body balanced and provide support for the spine.
‘Let’s Pilates’ for the DS retails for $24.99 (less on Amazon!), and has elements that lets you customize your workout. It makes perfect sense that the woman who starred as Lara Croft would get into active gaming!
